The Pittsburgh Land Bank is acquiring these dilapidated rowhomes for the Pittsburgh Housing Development Corporation (“PHDC”) to rehabilitate the properties for affordable homeownership. This is part of a larger initiative in partnership with the Urban Redevelopment Authority (“URA”) and the Hill Community Development Corporation (“Hill CDC”) to stabilize the entire block of publicly owned properties.

PLB Board approved the sale of these properties at its public meeting on Friday, June 14, 2024.

Do you have questions/comments/objections about the Sale?

After a property is approved for sale by the Pittsburgh Land Bank board, there is a 20 day objection period. If the Land Bank receives 15 or more objections, the Land Bank will hold a community meeting to collect additional feedback and concerns. The feedback will then be presented to the Land Bank Board, who will vote a second time on whether or not to proceed with the sale.
