(PARCEL NO. 50-G-76) | GARFIELD

  • Address: 0 Rosetta Street (Parcel No. 50-G-76)
  • Applicant: Private Owner-Occupant
  • End Use: New construction of a market rate single-family home

The PLB is committed to offering homeownership opportunities in desirable neighborhoods such as Garfield. This particular project, in partnership with the Urban Redevelopment Authority, is providing land access to owner-occupants with the desire to build a single-family home. This proposed sale allows individuals with the means and ability to purchase and build a home without taking away homeownership opportunities by purchasing existing homes in the neighborhood better suited for low- to moderate-income individuals and households. These types of transactions encourage mixed-income neighborhoods that are economically and socially diverse.

The Pittsburgh Land Bank’s Board approved the sale of these properties on Friday, April 12th at the monthly public meeting

  • Do you have questions about the development project?

Community Input

After a property is approved for sale by The Pittsburgh Land Bank Board, there is a 20-day objection period. If the Land Bank receives 15 or more objections, the Land Bank will hold a community meeting to collect additional feedback and concerns. The feedback will then be presented to the Land Bank Board, who will vote a second time on whether or not to proceed with the sale.
